The Sizzling Spice of Sriracha

  • By Aditya Kaji

The Sizzling Spice of Sriracha

One of our most talked about Water Lily Pops flavours has to be Sriracha Spice.

Sriracha, a sauce not known by many, has made its mark on our customers and has delighted them all with its sweet n’ spicy kick.

After all the junk that we’ve had after eating flaming hot cheetos, we all have earned ourselves a guilt-free snack that can give you that spicy kick while leaving the calories out. Viola, enter our Sriracha Spice makhana!

Here are some lesser known facts about Sriracha:

1. You’re pronouncing it incorrectly!

We don’t blame you for this one, but the Thai sauce isn’t pronounced how you’d think it is. It’s pronounced as srr-aa-chuch.

    2. It’s great for your heart!

Other than your heart falling in love with it, Sriracha also has other positive impacts on your heart. The capsaicin in the chili peppers can treat angina pain. Sriracha may also help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which can greatly help people with cardiovascular diseases.

    3. It has a documentary on itself!

This doesn’t come as a surprise to us, knowing the heroic flavour it is. A documentary was released about the sauce back in 2013. If you’re planning to watch it, we’ve got you the perfect snack to go with your movie night. Any guesses?

    4. Some other side benefits

Sriracha really knows what it's doing. Apart from being crazy delicious, it Improves blood clot absorption rates, Helps fight inflammation, Aids better blood circulation and is also a great expectorant to fight colds. Whew!

These are just some of the things that made us fall for the wonderful taste of Sriracha. If you’ve never tasted it before, we suggest you don’t wait around and miss out on this snack; check out our Sriracha Spice now!
